Serbian tastemaker Andrew Meller shows two different sides to his sound on a new EP for PEAKS.
Meller has become a globally recognised name with releases on labels like Diynamic, AME Records and Saved Records. Hits of his like the Demention EP and a Reincarnation Mix of Underworld’s Born Slippy, have dominated charts and he also heads up his own REWLER Records.
‘Grind’ is a full flavour opener with busy cowbells bringing a nostalgic touch to the surging synth lines and jacked up drums. Warped synths burrow through the beats and a vocal at the breakdown layers in emotion which takes this one to the next level. 'Give You Whole Love' then has a dark edge with vocals that remind of early Depeche Mode as the metallic drums are off-set by more celestial keys.
