Jochem Hamerling grew up in a musical family and found his way to dance music at 17, when a move to Chicago introduced him to the city's iconic house scene. Inspired by legends like Derrick Carter and Paul Johnson, he developed a sound that's hard to pin down — but always built for the dancefloor.
His releases span labels like Watergate, Truesoul, Renaissance and Days Like Nights, with support from Hernan Cattaneo, Marco Carola, Armin van Buuren and Vintage Culture. Beyond the booth and studio, he's been a trusted curator for Dutch dance radio on SLAM! and Radio 538, earning a Gouden Radio Ring nomination along the way.
His new single Twice As Bright is out June 25 on Peaks.
